Comedian Steve Coogan is to star as a gambling addict in a new BBC1 comedy drama co-written by Craig Cash.

Coogan, the star of the BBC2 comedies Saxondale and I'm Alan Partridge, will play a family man with a gambling addiction in a three part drama titled Sunshine.

Part one aired last night with Coogan's character, "Bing", running into trouble losing his families holiday to Disney land savings to a back room horse racing scam.
